It’s not mind over matter. It’s understanding how much your mind matters.

 
 

It’s emotion, not logic, that has the most significant impact in our lives. Emotion controls our behavior, happiness, well-being, and performance at work and home. I’ve come to understand that it is also emotion that is the root cause of much our chronic physical pain, addiction, anxiety, stress, and illness. Often, the role emotions play in our lives is overlooked because we have been conditioned to care more about how we are perceived by others rather than loving ourselves unconditionally.  It doesn’t have to be this way. When you focus on your most important relationship, the one between you and you, in time it will become clear that you are brilliant and unique in your own way. All those years of external worry that used to consume you will melt away into the happiness and love you are endlessly searching for.
